Ross Taylor set to represent Central Stags in the Ford Trophy 2022-23

Former New Zealand batter Ross Taylor is all set to return to cricket for the Central Stags. Taylor, who retired from international cricket in April this year, will be playing his 20th domestic season for the Stags, an association that began in 2002-03.
Taylor, 38, registered the fastest hundred in the Ford Trophy last year will most likely feature in both white-ball competitions in the upcoming season. Stags take on Otago Volts in their first-match of the Ford Trophy 2022-23 on Thursday.
As per Stuff.co.nz, speaking about his return to cricket, Taylor said he is hopefully of winning the trophy with Stags this time around.
"It was good to make the final last year, but hopefully we'll go one better this year," Taylor said.
The right-handed batter has been a constant sighting in the Central Districts' nets over the past few weeks, in an attempt to get match fit.
In a career that spanned 16 years, Taylor played 112 Tests, 236 ODIs, and 102 T20Is for the Black Caps amassing 18,199 international runs.
