In another shocker for India, prime all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has failed to recover from his knee injury that caused him to miss the Asia Cup and the entirety of T20 World Cup in Australia. The left-armer was included in both the ODI and Test squads for the Bangladesh series but now looks an uncertainty for the tour.

India is set to tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and two Tests which will be played in Dhaka and Chattogram beginning on 4th of December. The report was published by Cricbuzz, which stated that some sources in the BCCI and 33-year-old's hometown Rajkot have confirmed the news to them.

When the squads for the tour were announced, conditional availability of the all-rounder was specifically mentioned in the release.

"Mr. Ravindra Jadeja's availability is subject to fitness."

Therefore with his unavailability almost confirmed, replacement is likely to be announced soon.

Jadeja was last seen in the Indian jersey playing against Hong Kong in the Asia Cup held in UAE after which he was sent home following an unusual injury.

Recently, he was retained by his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings ahead of the mini-auction in December.
