In a recent development in West Indies Cricket, the board is most likely to revamp its whole white-ball team. OneCricket reports suggest that Rovman Powell will be the leading man of the new white-ball team as cited by leading cricket expert and broadcast journalist based in the Caribbean, Vernon Springer.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) is utterly disappointed with Nicholas Pooran's stint as the captain and more specifically his failed campaign at the T20 World Cup 2022 and his statements following the team's exit from the tournament.

Meanwhile, the board is impressed by Powell's display of leadership in the domestic franchise leagues. CWI will most likely also announce the new coach in the following couple of days. Desmond Haynes, Phil Simmons and Floyd Reifer are the possible candidates.
