The IPL scouts might have already the talents that they would go after during the mini-auction. A competition in which the scouts are always present for talent hunting is Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

One such talent that might be under the radar of franchises is Vijaykumar Vyshak. The 25-year-old youngster is a medium pace bowler who features for Karnataka in the Indian domestic scenario.

SMAT 2022 Performance

Vyshak has been a very consistent bowler during the latest edition of SMAT. He has picked up wickets in all the matches that his team played barring the last one against Punjab.

His number in the tournament is 15 wickets in 8 matches. He has bowled 29 overs in these 8 matches conceding 174 runs at the rate of 6 runs per over. Vyshak specialises in bowling the middle overs for his team, and also sometimes the tough death overs. Having a bowler like Vyshak in the middle overs will be very beneficial to any team as wickets in that phase is sure to give a big advantage. He also has the pace in his side and can trouble the batters with his ability to extract bounce off the surface.

In the coming auction teams in search of an Indian medium-pace bowler who can bowl in the middle overs might pick him up. Also, some teams can pick him up and can keep him as the backup of the bowlers they are thinking of as their main strengths.

Teams that can target Vyshak: Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.
