Facing a difficult form in T20 cricket, Rishabh Pant has been a shadow of himself in the format. The southpaw has been a star in ODI and Test for India in recent times, scoring crucial runs whenever the side required him to.

Now, former Indian cricketer and IPL star Robin Uthappa has backed the star Indian wicketkeeper to become a force in T20 cricket in the next 10 years. According to Uthappa, the left-hander should be opening the innings for India against New Zealand in the T20 series.

He thinks that the kind of player Pant is, he could very well be a match-winner for India. Further, he commented that the 25-year-old will be an enormous performer in upcoming future.

What Robin Uthappa said about Pant

"Rishabh Pant should open the innings in the New Zealand series, he should definitely play at the top of the order. I think in T20 cricket, that's where he has been at his best and that is where he will thrive going forward as well,

"He is a match-winner, a game-changer, and he can easily win matches for India single-handedly with his batting. I think he will be a huge player in T20 cricket over the course of the next 10 years."

Pant will be seen playing in the second T20I against the Kiwis on 20th November after first of the games got washed out in Wellington.
