The shortest and fastest format of the game, T10 League will return for the sixth season in Abu Dhabi with eight sides introduced this time around. One of the newest franchise from the USA, Morrisville SAMP Army have accumulated a solid line-up that will take the field.

The big news coming from their camp is that Proteas legend Jonty Rhodes has been appointed as the mentor of the side. Previously, Lance Klusener was also tasked with the responsibility of being the head coach.

On his joining, Rhodes mentioned that he has been looking at it as a great chance to help evolve cricket in different parts of the world. The 53-year-old added that he will be working on grassroots levels as well.

"One of the real benefits of my role with the SAMP Army is that I am not restricted to just the mentorship role with the team. I want to add value at the grassroot levels as well. And with the presence in India and North America as well, it is an amazing opportunity for me to be able to hopefully add value,

"I am looking forward to working more with the SAMP Army franchise with Ritesh Patel and Madhukar Shree leading the way."

Abu Dhabi T10 League begins on 23rd of November with Morrisville Samp Army taking the field for the first time on 24th November.
