Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav retained his position at the top of the ICC men's T20I batting rankings. Apart from Suryakumar, several England players made a jump in the rankings after their stellar performances in the T20 World Cup.

The 32-year-old became the number 1 T20I batter after an impressive showing in the Super 12 stage of the World Cup, wherein he smashes 3 half-centuries.

He suffered a dip in his ratings after getting dismissed for just 14 against England in the semis, but his position remained unchanged as the other batters failed to capitalise on the opportunity.

Apart from SKY, Alex Hales was the other notable batter to have jumped high in the rankings. The England opener smashed an unbeaten 86 off 47 deliveries in the semi-final against India, and climbed 22 places to number 12 in the rankings.

Hales scored 212 runs in the World Cup, at an average of 42.40.

Other notable batters who climbed up in the rankings are Babar Azam and Rilee Rossouw. The Pakistan skipper scored a gritty half-century against New Zealand in the semi-final and gained one spot to climb upto number 3.

South African batter Rilee Rossouw jumped to number 7 and took over the position from Glenn Phillips.

In the bowling charts, England's Adil Rashid was the biggest gainer. He had an impressive showing in the semi-final and the final and gained 5 spots to climb up to number 3 in the rankings. His teammate, Sam Curran, who was adjudged the Player of the Tournament, gained 2 spots to move to number 5.
