Former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar has now mocked India for their performance against England in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinals on Thursday.

The Men in Blue crashed out of the tournament after a humiliating defeat to England in the semifinals and their bowlers were unable to pick up a single wicket as the likes of Jos Buttler and Alex Hales took the Indian bowling attack apart.

The former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar has now revealed that England will face a much tougher test against the Men in Green in the finals on Sunday.

Akhtar claimed that Pakistan will not give up like India and will fight for the trophy.

The Men in Green have done exceedingly well to come back into the tournament and reach the finals after they were expected to crash out of the Super 12s at one stage.

It will be interesting to see if they can go all the way and lift the trophy eventually.

Both England and Pakistan have the quality to win the tournament and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top here.

"The difference is that England are in a comprehensive position, their confidence will be sky-rocketing. England know Pakistan bowlers are not like India. They will have to work hard to win, they won't get a walkover."

The former Pakistan player also claimed that Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan played an important innings against New Zealand and they will have to do the same against England in the finals.

"A lot depends on Babar and Rizwan. Their strike rate against New Zealand was very important. The wicket in Melbourne would allow them to maintain a similar strike rate."
