India will have a hard time digesting their horrendous exit from semifinals of the T20 World Cup 2022 after a brutal thrashing against England.

A lot of things went wrong for the Men in Blue but one thing that will sting a lot of fans was skipper Rohit Sharma's form throughout the tournament.

The Indian skipper failed to get runs at the top which added a lot of added pressure to the batters to score runs and preserve wickets at the same time.

Former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming spoke on Rohit's form in the coveted tournament, he also talked about India's weakness at the top adding that the India batters are not able to bounce off each other, insisting that usually a catalyst in the side can get things going.

“You can see some frustration. You could see he was visibly frustrated and couldn’t get his flow on. Even the shot he got out to, you know he’s looking to do it, you know he can feel that he’s behind and wanting to get underway,”

“It’s just the method and being out of their comfort zone. We’ve seen them in full flow, they are just awesome. But to get them in full flow is taking some time.”

Fleming concluded his interview by adding that many teams have been left behind trying to play conservative cricket and play the percentage game instead of moving with the game.
