Top-order batter Jonny Bairstow, was impressed with the England side after they defeated India in a one-sided semi-final on Thursday.

Chasing a tricky 169, England made a mockery of the total and chased it down with 4 overs to spare. Jos Buttler (80*) and Alex Hales (86*) shared an unbeaten opening stand of 170 and made light work of the total.

Bairstow was supposed to be a part of the England T20 World Cup squad, but he suffered a 'freak' injury while playing golf and was eventually ruled out of the mega tournament.

While talking to Sky Sports, Bairstow admired England's performance and stated that England were fearless in their run-chase.

"It was amazing, what a performance, as clinical as you can be. You need people to stand up in a semi-final and that's what happened. They were fearless all throughout the chase."

The 33-year-old also stated that there are no favourites for the game on Sunday and it will be a level playing field.

"There will be confidence after that seven-match series in Pakistan. We came out on the right side and we also know the qualities they have. It is a level playing field on Sunday and there are no favourites."

England will be riding high on confidence after that showing against India, but they have to be on their toes against a spirited Pakistan side.
