Before the big clash against England, India's superstar all-rounder Hardik Pandya was in awe of his teammates Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli during the chat with expert Nasser Hussain. He said that either it is both (SKY & Kohli) of them batting on a foreign planet or they (Indian team) are not batting properly.
While he was all praise for both of them, he especially mentioned SKY for his brilliance. Saying that he got his opportunity two years late than he should have gotten.
Furthermore, he was thankful to God for all the success they have received in the past few months which has been fantastic.
"Sometimes I feel that either we aren't batting well or maybe they (SKY, Kohli) are from different planet (laughs). Especially Surya as well. You know Virat (Kohli) has been doing this for years. I still think he (SKY) got his international opportunity two years late. God is really kind still and he has been fantastic for us,"
When asked about what will be his gameplan, he said that they are excited and at the same time calm, while following the proper procedure. Although, he was aware that they have to play well to get past the line.
“Every ball will matter from here. Very excited. At the same time, trying to keep calm and follow the processes that got us here. A lot of people keep asking how do you find yourself calm in these situations. A lot of that comes from preparation. If you prepare well and tick all the boxes, if you're confident about your skills, you will be calm,"
India is currently facing England in the semi-final at Adelaide Oval.
