Virat Kohli shatters multiple records in the T20 World Cup 2022

Indian talisman Virat Kohli has been in tremendous form ever since his rejuvenation in Asia Cup 2022. The former Indian skipper has lit the stage of fire in the T20 World Cup 2022 already emerging as the top run scorer in the tournament. 

Virat Kohli becomes the first player in T20 WC to reach 1100 runs

After surpassing Mahela Jayawardene's record of 1016 runs during the group stages of the tournament, Kohli hasn't looked back at all. Currently batting at 48* off 38 deliveries, Virat became the first batter in the history of the T20 World Cup to surpass the mark of 1100 runs. 

After losing the wickets of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma in early stages of the game, Kohli has ferried the Indian boat, with the team standing at 118/3 in 16.3 overs. 

Virat Kohli reaches 4000 runs in T20I cricket

Kohli has once again displayed why he is perhaps the best batter of his generation. The batter reached another major milestone in his career as he became first player in the history of T20I cricket to reach 4000 runs.

Virat breaks Sachin Tendulkar's record for most runs in knockouts

Kohli's knock against England saw him break another big record as the batter became the highest run scorer for India in knockouts (ODI & T20I). 

Sachin Tendulkar was the previous highest scorer for India scoring 339 runs, as of writing Kohli has already crossed the 350 runs mark in knockouts.

Virat becomes the highest visiting run scorer at Adelaide

During his knock against England, Kohli established another milestone has he became the highest visiting run scorer at Adelaide. In 15* innings Kohli has played at the venue he has touched the mark of 950* runs with an average of 75.58.
