What comes as a major boost for Bangladesh, bowling coach Allan Donald will continue to remain with the team during the India series as well.

Donald's contract was due to expire after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2022 but after some talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board's CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury, the former Proteas pacer has agreed to stay with the team for an extended period.

What Nizamuddin Chowdhury said

"Allan Donald is available during the home series against India,

"His contract (that is signed till the ICC T20 World Cup 2022) is an internal matter but he is available during the India series."

The final call on the contract of all the foreign heads will be taken during the board meeting that is bound to happen after the arrival of BCB President Nazmul Hasan from Australia.

Further, technical consultant Sridharan Sriram's contract will be up for discussion too but in all likelihood, he will retained considering his brilliant show.

Another revelation by a board official mentioned that credit for Mustafizur Rahman's return to form was mostly because of Donald who did well to help him return to his rhythm.

"He (Donald) did pretty well to guide Mustafizur during the tri-series ahead of the World Cup and Fizz bowled relatively well in the global tournament."
