Nottinghamshire spinner Liam Patterson-White has penned a four-year contract extension deal with the county that will make him available for Notts at least till the end of the 2026 season.
Patterson-White had earlier signed a contract with Nottinghamshire that would have lasted till 2024.
As Nottinghamshire won the County Division Two title in 2022 and earned a promotion, Patterson-White, who claimed 41 wickets in the season, enjoyed impeccable heights as the spinner that brought back the glory for his team.
He was put into the England Lions squad on the back of a wonderful run with the ball in the 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup that saw the spinner taking 11 wickets in seven matches at an economy of 4.79.
Speaking on playing for Nottinghamshire, Patterson-White emphasised how much it means for him while also citing the club's recent success.
Here is what Patterson-White stated
"Playing for Nottinghamshire means everything to me. I've followed the club for my entire life and – having first represented the county aged ten – to have played a role in getting us back to the top division in red-ball cricket this year is something I'm very proud of,
"I still get 'pinch me' moments walking out at Trent Bridge alongside guys who have also come through the pathway, as well as international cricketers and those who have made a name here through prolonged success. It's a special place, and I feel very privileged to play here."
