The franchises will participate with their leftover purse from last year. In addition to that the teams will have an additional purse of INR 5 crore. Making the overall auction pure a whopping INR 95 crore.

Franchises leftover purse

  • Punjab Kings: INR 3.45 crore
  • Chennai Super Kings: INR 2.95 crore
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore: INR 1.55 crore
  • Rajasthan Royals: INR 0.95 crore
  • Kolkata Knight Riders: INR 0.45 crore
  • Gujarat Titans: INR 0.15 crore

The player pool will be finalised by early December, after franchises submit their list of released players. Unlike the auction last year, this year's 'mini-auction' will be wrapped up in one day.
