We all are familiar with how Eoin Morgan transformed England from a mediocre to an extraordinary white-ball team, eventually winning the ODI World Cup in 2019. And now, when the entire world reckons them to be one of the most ruthless units in limited-overs cricket, ace English all-rounder Moeen Ali has come up with a contradictory statement.

The swashbuckling southpaw stated that despite having a robust lineup, they have managed only one ICC title; therefore, they need to add more trophies to their cabinet to be tagged as invincible.

Moeen further opined that England's best cricket is yet to come in the World Cup, and they could end up winning the title if they play up to their potential in the knockouts.

Here's what Moeen stated

"There's a lot of talk about us being a great white-ball side and the England team has been really good, but we've only won one tournament. It's important we start winning more as a team and as a country. Then we can call ourselves a top side,

"This time I don't think we've played well but we've got through and the best is yet to come with this side. I don't think we've been near where we want to be but now's a great opportunity to put that right. If we play our best cricket in the next two games I believe we win the World Cup."

England will lock horns with India in the second semifinal of the tournament in Adelaide on Thursday.
