In an already tight group, Pakistan is eying the semi-finals spot if they win their next encounter against Bangladesh in the 41st match of the T20 World Cup 2022 at Adelaide Oval.

While, Pakistan are coming off a comforting win against South Africa, however, they were down and out in the first two games against India and Zimbabwe, respectively. Qualifying for them is not going to be an easy task even with victory as they need other results in their favour.

Conversely, Bangladesh are here after a thrilling defeat against India in a rain-curtailed encounter. Similarly to their counterparts, their qualification scenario isn't straightforward with dependency on others. However, they will still be hopeful of turning the tide on their side.

Match Details

Pitch Report: Turning out to be one of the best batting tracks, Adelaide has already produced some of the best matches of the tournament so far. Again, the boundary dimensions will come into play with batters looking to hit the sides and bowlers aiming to pitch the ball up. The forecast for this one hasn't turned out exactly the way we would have liked with some cloudy skies during the game.

Probable Playing XI

Pakistan: Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Haris, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah.

Bangladesh: Najmul Hossain Shanto, Litton Das, Shakib Al Hasan (c), Afif Hossain, Yasir Ali, Mosaddek Hossain, Nurul Hasan (wk), Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam.

Prediction

Both these side are capable enough of a decent victory in this clash with game mostly dependent on batters. However, after their recent victory against South Africa, Pakistan are looking more of a formidable side now and should end up on the winning side in this game.
