United States (US) Cricket have announced a 14-member squad for their upcoming tour of Namibia. US visits Namibia for a four-match One-Day International (ODI) series involving hosts and Papua New Guinea (PNG) as part of the ongoing ICC's Cricket World Cup League Two Series.

They have made as many as five changes to their squad which toured PNG in September.

The most notable miss was Jaskaran Malhotra, who registered the highest ODI individual score for the States. Malhotra, during his knock of 173 runs, smashed six sixes in an over as well.

Monank Patel will lead the side, with Aaron Jones acting as his deputy.

Paceman Kyle Phillips was also omitted, having featured in three ODIs for the USA. Former Under-19 players like Saiteja Mukammalla, Rahul Jariwala, and Yasir Mohammad have also not found a place.

Shayan Jahangir and Saideep Ganesh have earned their maiden USA call-up. Selectors have also recalled Sushant Modani, Ian Holland, and veteran Usman Rafiq.

Interestingly, Jahangir played U-19 cricket for Pakistan before shifting base. The call-up comes on the back of a spectacular Minor League Cricket season for Lone Star Athletics.

All games will be played at Wanderers Cricket Ground. The series kicks off on November 20 and gets over by November 26.
