In the ongoing game against New Zealand, Joshua Little produced a moment of magic and bagged a hat-trick to derail New Zealand's innings.

He became the second player after Karthik Meiyappan of UAE to bag a hat-trick in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

It was all going well for New Zealand with Kane Williamson out in the middle. But Little turned the tides with a spectacular 19th over. In the second delivery of the over, Little bowled a short pitched delivery and Williamson miscued his pull and found the fielder at deep backward square leg.

Jimmy Neesham became his second victim as the left-armer trapped him in front of the stumps. Neesham departed without troubling the scorecard. Little followed it up with another lbw wicket, this time of Mitch Santner.

At one stage, New Zealand were well on their course to get to the 200-run mark, but Little's spell halted the momentum of the Kiwis.

He became the second Irish player after Curtis Campher to take a hat-trick in the World Cup. Campher did it against the Netherlands in the last edition of the T20 World Cup.
