Ricky Ponting wants India vs Australia in T20 World Cup Final at MCG

We are in the last stage of the Super 12 round, with none of the teams having qualified as of now. Former Australia legend and two time World Cup winner Ricky Ponting as opined on whom he wants to see playing the T20 World Cup final at the iconic MCG.

Ponting said that he wants to see India and Australia in front of a packed Melbourne Cricket Ground in the finals of the mega-event which could turn out to be one of the mega-blockbusters of this year.

"We're just days away from the final at a packed MCG - and I can't wait to see it. The MCG is my favourite cricket ground in the world bar none. It's one of the great sport venues anywhere in the world,

"Honestly, who knows who's going to be playing in Melbourne. I hope Australia find a way to get through the group. South Africa are the only unbeaten team left so they'll be dangerous, but I'll say what I did at the start and that's an Australia vs India final."

India's next assignment will be against Zimbabwe which will seal their spot for the semis whereas Australia will face Afghanistan which will be huge contest for the hosts.
