ICC Men's Player of the Month Nominees announced

ICC has announced its nominees for the 'Player of the Month' for October 2022. Three players have made in into the nomination namely from India, South Africa and Zimbabwe. 


Virat Kohli (India)

Virat Kohli has been churning out memorable back-to-back knocks. Including a jam packed unbeaten 82 off of 53 deliveries against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022. He also scored another unbeaten 49 off of 28 deliveries against South Africa in Guwahati. He racked up yet another unbeaten against Netherlands (62*). Kohli has scored 205 T20I runs in October at an average of 205 and a brilliant strike-rate of 150.73.


David Miller (South Africa)

South Africa's batter David Miller has amassed a total of 303 runs at a phenomenal average of 303 and at a strike-rate of 146.37. Miller scored an unbeaten 107 off of 47 balls at the start of the month against India. He also scored 59* and 75* against India. Miller has had a tough couple of years but made a mind-boggling comeback. 


Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe)

The Zimbabwean all-rounder has been brilliant this month. He smashed an amazing 82 from just 47 balls and scalped a bowling figure of 1/22, helping Zimbabwe clinch their first win in the T20 World Cup 2022. He also scored 40 off of 23 deliveries against Scotland and bowling figures of 1/20 in the same match. He also registered figures of 3/19 and 3/25 against West Indies and Pakistan respectively.
