The Pakistan Women's team is set to host Ireland in three ODIs and three T20Is in November. Ahead of the series, young Pakistani pacer Fatima Sana has expressed her confidence in a good show at home. The 20-year-old also expressed her excitement about playing hosts to the visiting Irish side.

The Pakistan women's team is currently in Lahore for a pre-series camp at the National High-Performance Centre. Fatima Sana is one of the members at the camp, having regained her fitness after missing out on the recently-concluded T20 Women's Asia Cup in Bangladesh.

While speaking to PCB Digital ahead of the Ireland internationals, Sana said she is excited to see the Irish women's team landing on Pakistan shores for the first time.

The youngster added that the Women in Green would be looking to maintain their winning momentum against Ireland as well, considering they reached the semi-final of the Asia Cup and defeated eventual winners India in the opening round.

Sana also stressed that she is hoping to see a good crowd in Lahore, the venue for all six matches against Ireland.

Here's what Sana said

"It is great to see Ireland coming here for the first time, we will try to keep our winning momentum going in the forthcoming series as well,

"We have seen a good crowd in Karachi against Sri Lanka, we hope to see a similar crowd flocking the stadium and supporting us in the series against Ireland."
