Warwickshire County Cricket Club has extended the deal of one of their most prolific batters, Sam Hain, until the end of 2025 season.

Scoring 10,228 runs at a healthy average, Hain has been at the centre stage of the Club since 2013. The 27-year-old made his debut at the age of 17, he has also smacked 21 hundreds in all formats of the game.

While still waiting for his national side call-up, he has already managed to play for England Lions. Also, he is the highest scorer for the Club amassing 2,729 runs in T20 format surpassing veteran Ian Bell in 2021.

What Hain said while joining the club

“When discussions started on a new contract, I was desperate to sign and extend my stay. This Club means everything to me, and having lived in Birmingham for nearly ten years, this is certainly my home.

“I’m incredibly fortunate to have been a part of some special moments alongside some incredibly close friends. I can’t wait to build on what we’ve achieved over the next few years.”

The right-hander smacked three centuries this season, scoring 1,137 runs in the County Championship, which could be handy for his red ball experience.
