Cricket fans get to see a nail-biting contest whenever two arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, take on each other. Recently, the two South Asian neighbours were involved in a riveting battle, with India pipping their counterparts by four wickets in the last-ball thriller.

Meanwhile, Australia captain Aaron Finch has expressed his eagerness to witness an India-Pakistan encounter live, purely as a spectator.

Speaking to renowned journalist Melinda Farrell on her YouTube channel, Finch revealed how Sunday's encounter kept him glued to the TV, as he seemed excited to enjoy the cracking battles between the two Asian giants in future.

The 35-year-old also lauded Virat Kohli, who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for India, hammering a match-winning 82* against Pakistan.

Here's what Finch stated

"I think the India-Pakistan game was amazing. I was actually sitting at home, nervous! I was nervous in the build-up watching that because I know how big a clash it is and I can't wait for the day that I can retire and go and watch an India-Pakistan game live somewhere,

"What it was...was a Virat Kohli masterclass! You always felt even though with three overs to go that if you're still there. You know the amount of pressure that he puts on the opposition just by being there and yeah it was just great viewing."

Meanwhile, Australia's third Super 12 encounter against England was washed out due to rain. The hosts will take on Ireland in their next fixture in Brisbane on Monday.
