Virat Kohli has been in sublime form as of late. The star Indian batter scored a match-winning unbeaten 82 against arch-rivals Pakistan, and continued the onslaught against the Netherlands in the last game.
On Thursday, the legendary batter surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to register the most number of half-centuries in SENA country by an Indian.
He achieved this feat during the course of his 62* against the Dutch side at the SCG, wherein he smashed 3 fours and 2 sixes.
With this, Kohli now has 49 half-centuries in SENA countries. He has 17 fifties in Australia, 18 in England, 9 in South Africa and 5 against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Sachin has 17 fifties in Australia, 12 in England, 9 in South Africa and 10 in New Zealand.
As far as India's World Cup campaign is concerned, Rohit Sharma's men are at the top of the table, with 2 wins on the trot. They next face South Africa in Perth and another victory will almost seal their place in the semi-finals.
