Ever since making his comeback for South Africa, Rilee Rossouw has been in prime touch. Rossouw smacked his second consecutive T20I hundred when he scored a match-winning 109 against Bangladesh last evening in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022.

Interestingly, Rossouw's last four innings have two back-to-back ducks, with as many centuries taking his tally to 340 runs at a staggering strike rate of 184.78 in 2022 alone.

The 33-year-old became the first South African batter to record a T20I World Cup ton. Overall, he has scored 667 runs from 22 T20Is for the Proteas.

Speaking about his comeback from Kolpak, Rossouw called it an unbelievable experience for him. According to cricket.com, the left-handed top-order revealed that winning games for South Africa is all that matters to him.

“Sometimes things go your way. And this year has been like an unbelievable roller coaster ride for me. So happy. So proud to be sitting here. Never thought about it in a million years,

I'm a very passionate man. And getting across the line, it meant a lot to me. It means a lot to my family back home. It's just been a good roller coaster ride. Just to play with South Africa again, it's been amazing.”

However, the Bloemfontein-born called his century against hosts India more special. His next outing for South Africa will be against India on Sunday.
