Promising all-rounder Luke Hollman has signed a two-year contract extension with Middlesex, which will see him represent the club until the end of 2024.

In his reaction, the 22-year-old considered it an honour to prolong his association with the iconic cricket club. He also seemed determined to make Middlesex reach new heights.

Here's how Hollman reacted to his signing

"I've been in the system since the age of nine so to extend my stay is a real honour. We've built a team environment over the past 12 months and now we're ready to reach new heights."

Middlesex head of men's performance Alan Coleman welcomed Hollman gleefully and admitted to being excited to see him prosper as a player.

Here's what Coleman commented

"Luke is an extremely talented young cricketer and we are excited to see how his game develops."

Notably, Hollman developed through the Middlesex academy to become a first-team regular over the past three years.

He emerged as a match-winner for Middlesex this season, scoring 518 runs at an average of 34 and taking 19 wickets with his leg spin, leading Middlesex to County Championship promotion.
