It was pretty phenomenal to watch: Edwards on Kohli's shot

When asked about Virat Kohli's famous lofted shot against Haris Rauf, Edwards termed it one of the most challenging shots to play and opined only a few could have executed it.

"Yeah, I mean playing that shot against any one let alone a guy who can bowl up to 150 Kph is pretty incredible; so, it was pretty phenomenal to watch and I don't think there are many guys around the world who can play that."

He was a class player: Edwards on Dhoni

On being asked to narrate his experience of watching MS Dhoni, Edwards lavished praise on the former Indian captain for his incredible glove work and finishing skills.

"Yeah, again another superstar of the game. I mean you know he is called the finisher for a reason. The amount of big games he stood up in and his glove work let alone his batting is... yeah he was a class player."

I would like to meet Suryakumar Yadav: Edwards

When asked about the one Indian player he would like to meet after Thursday's game, Edwards cited the name of Suryakumar Yadav.

Terming Suryakumar a talented cricketer, Edwards seemed excited to learn some batting lessons from the Indian superstar.

"I think Suryakumar is a seriously talented cricketer and I'm sure we could learn a thing or two off him. He has incredible strike rates against all kinds of bowling, and it's just the way he goes about it."

Regarding Rishabh Pant, Edwards said that the swashbuckling southpaw is a gifted cricketer as he is one of the fortunate players to represent India on the highest level.

"Anyone who makes it into the Indian squad is obviously seriously talented cricketer. I mean you look at the amount of cricketers are in India; yeah, if you are making the squad, you are obviously a good player."
