Marcus Stoinis smashes quickest fifty to take Australia home

Australia and Sri Lanka took the field against each other on the 4th day of the Super 12 stage of ICC T20I World Cup 2022. It was a do or die for the defending champions and they played like one. 

Australia won the toss and decided to field first in the match. Sri Lanka set a target of 158 runs for Australia. 

The 'Men in Yellow' were in a spot of bother at 89 for 3 in 12.2 overs when Marcus Stoinis came out to bat.  But he was not at all overawed by the situation and played a counter attacking brand of cricket. 

During his match winning knock of 59 off 18 deliveries he tumbled a couple of records.
