The BCCI came up with multiple developments during their 91st Annual General Meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

Roger Binny was appointed as the new BCCI president replacing former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. Meanwhile, the Women's IPL was given the go ahead as well.

In addition, ACC supremo Jay Shah confirmed that India won't be travelling to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. The BCCI want the tournament to be shifted to a neutral venue.

It is believed that the diplomatic tensions between the two countries has led to this.

Reacting to Jay Shah's comments, Pakistan legend Shahid Afridi has now shared his thoughts on the matter.

The former all-rounder believes that India and Pakistan share an excellent camaraderie on the pitch and there was no need for these comments from Shah. He also added that the timing of these comments do not make sense either, especially with the T20 World Cup 2022 on the horizon.

Afridi also tweeted that there is a lack of cricket administration experience in India.

“When excellent comradery between the 2 sides in the past 12 months has been established that has created good feel-good factor in the 2 countries, why BCCI Secy will make this statement on the eve of #T20WorldCup match? Reflects lack of cricket administration experience in India."

Meanwhile, the two teams will begin their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign against each other on Sunday, in what promises to be high-octane affair.
