T20 World Cup 2022: Sachin Tendulkar heaps praise on Arshdeep Singh

India are all set to begin their T20 World Cup 2022 journey against arch-rivals Pakistan on the 23rd of October, Sunday and the Men in Blue will look to go all the way in the tournament. 

Rohit Sharma and co have demonstrated impressive form against the likes of Australia and South Africa recently and they will be considered as one of the favourites.

While there are injury issues that could cause problems for India, they have the strength in depth to cope with the loss of key players like Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. 

In the absence of Bumrah, Mohammed Shami is expected to come into the side and he will spearhead India's pace bowling attack alongside Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh. 

Having impressed in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022, all eyes will be on young Arshdeep as he looks to make his mark in the marquee event. 

Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar has now opened about the youngster. While speaking to the media, Tendulkar expressed his admiration for the death bowler and heaped praise on him for his approach in recent months. 

The legendary Indian batsman said (as quoted by Hindustan Times):

"What I really like is that if Arshdeep has a plan, he commits to it and that is really, really important in this format as batters are going out and playing those extra shots and some innovative ones. So if you have a plan, commit to it."
