The cricketing rivalry between India and Pakistan is second to none. From increasing the heart rate to giving sleepless nights, this contest has given it all to the fans from both sides of the border.

However, whenever these two Asian giants meet, the good off-field relationship between their players takes centerstage. Something similar happened during the Pre-World Cup presser, exhibiting the friendship between the two captains, Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam

Since his international debut, Babar Azam has been spoken of highly by not only Pakistan fans but also fans from across the globe. But, putting a full stop to his comparison with Rohit Sharma, the stylish right-handed batter stressed that he has always tried to learn from the legendary Indian batter, considering what he has done for the Indian team over the years.

Here's what Babar stated

"Rohit Sharma is older than me. I try to take as much experience as possible from him, as he has been playing for a long time."

In his reaction, Rohit also reverberated the mutual understanding between players from both sides. Going a step forward, the legendary batter opened up on the informal conversations that take place between the players whenever they face off.

Here's what Rohit revealed

"Whenever we meet Pakistan players, we talk about how things are back home, how the families are. Even our previous generation cricketers also told us the same thing. We just talk about what is going on, how is life and what new car they have bought or they are about to buy."

Such mutual respect and friendship between these stalwarts have won the hearts of their millions of fans from across the border. But, more importantly, in a time when the political tension between the two neighbours has reached a new high, the message of brotherhood passed by Rohit and Babar has received a huge round of applause from the cricket fraternity.
