In a major turn of events, India is likely to tour Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup schedule to take place in Pakistan.

The approval though will come from the Indian government, but as per a report in Cricbuzz, BCCI is keen to travel to Pakistan next year.

Ahead of the October 18 Annual General Meeting (AGM), a BCCI note was circulated among the state associations on Thursday which lists out India's engagement in next year's multilateral series.

Pakistan are set to host the Asia Cup 2023, while the 50-over World Cup will be held in India in the second half of the year. And as per the AGM note, BCCI is open to travelling to Pakistan which they have not done since 2006.

When the BCCI officials were contacted regarding the same, they were reluctant to answer. However, there is always this alternative of hosting the event in the UAE, like the Asia Cup this year, but the BCCI is not mulling on that option.
