In an interesting decision by the team management, all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed is all set to make his debut for the Indian team in the 2nd ODI against South Africa. He has replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had an average outing in the previous match.

Shahbaz has been a star for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the recent IPL season and has starred with both bat and ball for them.

The Inclusion of Shahbaz will certainly boost the middle order as he would be a handy bowler and can also chip in with runs at crucial junctures.

The Bengal cricketer has played 19 first-class games so far, and has scored 1103 runs, at an average of 42.42. Moreover, he has also taken 62 wickets and has proved his mettle in both the departments.

South Africa won the first ODI in a relatively close affair and India would be looking to get the better of them this time around.
