Team India suffered a 49-run defeat in the third T20I as they failed to chase the 228-run target at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.

It was an exhibition of aggressive batting coupled with stellar bowling performance as the Proteas side outclassed the Men in Blue in all three departments.

It was Rilee Rossouw, who hogged all the limelight with his sensational knock of an unbeaten 100 off just 48 balls. His match-defining inning was studded with seven boundaries and eight towering sixes.

Thanks to his belligerent knock and Quinton de Kock's quickfire half-century, South Africa posted a humongous total of 227 runs after being asked to bat first.

Temba Bavuma, who registered two consecutive ducks in the first two T20Is at Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati, once again failed to get going as he could manage only three runs in the final T20I at Indore on Tuesday, October 4.
