Heading into the World Cup, sides have been looking to gain some momentum before it begins and England seemed to have gained it following their 4-3 series victory against Pakistan. Both the sides went neck to neck in the seven match series before England won the final and the deciding fixture by 67 runs at Lahore yesterday.

We're really happy to win this series: Moeen Ali

Post the series victory, England skipper Moeen Ali expressed his delight at winning the series and heading into the World Cup in Australia with confidence. He further stated that England still cannot be counted as favourites for the World Cup. The southpaw then went on to praise the team saying that England are a dangerous side to be up against.

"If I'm honest I don't feel that way at all, but I know we are a very dangerous team to play and other teams will fear playing us. But I still think Australia and India are the two favourites."

"We were disappointed in the end, because looking back I think if we'd been really on it we'd probably have won [the series] 6-1."
