International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the annually updated Women's team rankings for T20I and ODI formats. The new rankings reflect all series completed since October 2019, with those completed prior to October 2021 weighted at 50 per cent and subsequent series weighted at 100 per cent.

Unsurprisingly, Australia Women (299 points) occupy the top spot in the T20I rankings, leading second-placed England (281 points) by a healthy 18-point margin, which was 14 earlier. The mighty Aussies have been undefeated in their last 14 T20Is, registering ten victories with four games being concluded without a result.

Such incredible consistency has seen the CWG 2022 champions' unreal domination in the rankings. New Zealand and India are placed third and fourth, respectively, with 271 and 266 rating points.

Australia have followed a similar trend in ODIs too, leading second-placed South Africa by a massive 51-point margin, the biggest lead any international men’s or women’s side has ever had in any form of the game.

Although the gap between the top two teams is huge, South Africa and England are fighting neck-to-neck for the second spot, with the former leading the latter by only three points.

India and New Zealand are placed fourth and fifth, respectively, with 104 and 101 points.
