The County Championship Division Two witnessed four matches being resumed on Tuesday (September 27). Here's all you need to know about the matches being played at Worcester, Hove, Nottingham and Derby.
At the start of Day 2, Worcestershire were at 167/8. The contribution of Josh Tongue (39*) helped them to finish their innings on a total of 225.
Then, Worcs secured a breakthrough in the first over in the form of Sam Robson (0). Nevertheless, Mark Stoneman (36) and Pieter Malan were imperious with their stroke play to add 73 runs for the second wicket.
At the end of Day 2, Middlesex are at 146/2, with Malan batting on 68*, while Max Holden is at 35*.

Glamorgan began Day 2 on 221/3. Shubman Gill completed his maiden century in the County Championship, and then made his way back to the hut for 119 off 139. However, Chris Cooke (141) was phenomenal in aiding the team to declare on 533/9.
In response, Sussex have started their innings positively to end Day 2 on 88/1, taking just 14 overs. Ali Orr emerged as the top-scorer with the contribution of 45, while Tom Haines is unbeaten on 38*.

Day 2 - Sussex trail by 445 runs
Notts resumed the Day on an overnight score of 276/2. Soon, Joe Clarke made his way back to the hut for 28. Then, Lyndon James arrived at the crease and provided strong support to Matthew Montgomery. The duo added 361 runs for the fourth wicket, before Montgomery was dismissed for 178.
Durham's pacers proved to be ineffective as Notts declared on a mammoth total of 662, with James (164*) and skipper Steven Mullaney (136) as their other notable contributors.
In reply, Durham have ended Day 2's proceedings on 52/2, with Scott Borthwick and George Drissell at the crease.
