The New York Strikers have roped in Pakistan speedster Wahab Riaz for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League. The newest entrant in the tournament have also signed in explosive West Indies batter Andre Fletcher for the season.

The 2022 Abu Dhabi T10 League marks the sixth edition of the competition, and is slated to commence from November 23 onwards.

Andre Fletcher was the leading run-getter for the St Lucia Kings in CPL 2022. The cricketer clubbed 229 runs from just eight innings for the franchise, at an imperial average of 32.71.

The right-hander will be hoping to carry his fine tune with the bat in Abu Dhabi, and leave a mark for the Strikers in their maiden T10 outing.

Wahab Riaz, on the other hand, is an elite T20 freelancer who has represented franchises from leagues across the world. The speedster recently represented the Central Punjab in Pakistan’s National T20 Cup, after playing just one match for the Northern Superchargers in The Hundred 2022.

The two cricketers will further strengthen the Strikers’ line-up, which already features the likes of Kieron Pollard, Eoin Morgan and Ravi Rampaul.

Here is a look at the entire Strikers’ squad set up for the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2022 season.
