With the series hanging in balance, Pakistan and English head to Lahore for the fifth T20I scheduled on September 28 at Gaddafi Stadium.

In a remarkable turnaround of sorts, Pakistan's nerve-wracking win over England in the previous game levelled the series 2-2.

Despite Mohammad Rizwan's 67-ball 88, Pakistan stuttered in the second half of their innings and reached a total of 166 runs.

While the hosts' bowlers did well enough in attaining a victory, England seemed well on course to complete the target, courtesy of a 24-run 18th over bowled by Mohammad Hasnain. However, as Haris Rauf took wickets off consecutive deliveries and then the run-out in the final over helped Pakistan gather a victory by three runs.

Key Players

  • Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan sits at top of the ladder in the list of highest scorers in the series, accumulating as many as 252 runs in four matches.
  • Bowling an exceptional spell, Haris Rauf claimed a three-for that led Pakistan towards a win in a cliffhanger just a few days ago. Overall, the pacer has taken six wickets in the series so far.
  • Boasting of a terrific series, England's latest find, Harry Brook has smashed 188 runs in four games.
