England Legends will take on Australia Legends in the final league stage fixture of the Road Safety World Series (RSWS) 2022 on Tuesday, September 27 at Shaheed Veer Narayan International Stadium, Raipur. 

Australian Legends made a dreadful start to the tournament, losing their opening game against Sri Lanka Legends by 38 runs. The Shane Waston-led side, however, was quick to learn from the mistakes as they won their next match against Bangladesh Legends by three wickets.

Though their third and fourth game were called off due to the rain, they kept their winning momentum intact by winning the fifth and the most recent fixture against West Indies Legends by eight wickets. Currently, they are occupying the fourth position in the league standings.

As for England Legends, the team has failed to win a single game this season and is currently lurking in second last spot with two points, which were credited to them thanks to their abandoned game against South Africa Legends.

  • Shane Watson: He is the highest run-scorer for Australia Legends, having accumulated 162 runs in three matches at an average of 54 and a strike rate of 172.34. He also has one wicket to his name. 
  • Nathan Reardon: He played a quickfire knock of 19-ball 46 not out against Sri Lanka Legends in the opening game. In two matches, he has picked two wickets as well. 
  • Callum Ferguson: The right-handed batter has put on 64 runs in three matches at an average of 32 and a strike rate of 156.09 for Australia Legends. 
  • Ian Bell: The England Legends skipper has scored 73 runs in three matches at an average of 24.33 and a strike rate of 91.25.

Pitch Report
