India registered a remarkable series victory by defeating Australia in the third T20I in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Death bowling emerged as a massive concern for Team India in the series despite the win. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar continued his unimpressive run, two first-choice death bowlers, Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah, seemed pale shadows of themselves in the last five overs.

However, after the thumping victory in Hyderabad, Indian captain Rohit Sharma backed Harshal Patel to regain his mojo in quick time.

Here's how Rohit stood by Harshal

"Coming back from an injury is never easy. He missed cricket for close to two months. Whenever bowlers go through an injury phase and come back, it's never easy, so we've not really judged him on how he has performed in these three games because we know his quality."

Addressing Harshal as a workhorse, Rohit also stressed that the Indian think tank trusts his incredible skillset and expects him to come good in the upcoming matches.

Notably, Harshal, who returned to cricket after a long injury layoff, found it tough to get going in the slog overs in the series. However, he bowled the last over superbly to restrict Australia to a total below 186 in the third game.
