Pakistan and England served the fans with utmost entertainment when they fought a battle with each other in the fourth T20 International at the National Stadium in Karachi. It was one game where the momentum truly swung back and forth between the two teams. In the end, Pakistan managed to win by three runs to level the series by 2-2.

There were a lot of heroes for the Green Army during the match but it was Haris Rauf who stole all the thunder with his scintillating performance with the ball. Chasing the target of 167 runs, England had a disappointing start as they lost their first three wickets cheaply within two overs.

The middle order comprising Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, and Moeen Ali stabilized the team by scoring 33, 34, and 29 runs, respectively. With 17 overs gone by, England had a real chance of winning as they were playing at a score of 134-7.

To make the matter worse for Pakistan, Mohammad Hasnain conceded a whopping 24 runs in the 18th over as he got smacked for four boundaries and one maximum. In the last two overs, England needed just nine runs to win with Liam Dawson playing at 30 runs off 14 balls.

This is when Haris stepped up to bowl an excellent penultimate over and help his team make a comeback in the game. Though the seamer got hit for a lone four, he managed to pick two back-to-back wickets in the form of Dawson and Olly Stone. This was the third wicket for the 28-year-old as earlier in the game he dismissed David Willey.

The five-run over by Rauf proved to be the game-changer as England collapsed at 163 in 19.2 overs. The seamer looked extremely happy with his player of the match performance.

Reflecting on the bowling exploits, he said,

"Thank God, Pakistan won the match, it might have given confidence to the team. Not giving up was in my mind. You have to handle pressure in international matches, I try to execute balls in a pressure situation, will learn from Mark Wood how to bowl pace balls and he can learn from me how to bowl slower ones, I like him as a bowler."
