Kaur smeared an unbeaten 143 off just 111 deliveries as India Women charted a daunting 333-5 upfront. In-form opener Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deol provided some much-needed oomph in the middle overs with notable contributions while Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar sparked fiery cameos in the death.

Later, Renuka Singh dusted the English run-chase with a four-fer, receiving much assistance from Jhulan Goswami through her economic spell from the other end. Deepti Sharma, Shafali Verma and Dayalan Hemalatha also collected wickets while smart fielding from the team accounted for two run-outs.

After the match, captain Kaur credited her side for stepping up on the occasion collectively. She praised the team effort and expressed her jubilance of pocketing an away ODI series.

“When we came here, that was the goal (to win the series). Was a crucial win today as everybody stepped up. Whoever was getting the chance today was giving us breakthroughs and that's what we need.”

The touring Indian party will now travel to Lord’s for the final match of the tour. Having sealed the ODI series already, Kaur’s troops will be looking for a 3-0 sweep, considering these matches also form a part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship.
