Apart from being champions on the field, the Australian cricket team are quite ferocious of it as well when it comes to playing mind games. Known for their pre-series banter in the media, Australia are gearing up to take on hosts India in a three-match T20I series starting September 20.

Skipper Aaron Finch, who recently retired from the One-Day Internationals (ODI), addressed Virat Kohli's 71st ton, which took three years in the making.

"You'd be a very very brave man to write off Virat at any stage. He has shown for 15 years now, that he is one of the greatest players of all time. Particularly in T20 cricket, he is someone who has developed his game and grown his game over for such a long period. You are always trying to prepare to the best of your ability when you are coming up against Virat,"

The former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player also backed teammate Steve Smith, who has struggled to find his role in the shortest-format of the game.

"We know the skill he has got and the game sense and the tactical nous he has got, we are very confident that regardless of what role he has to play within the structure of the squad, he can do that,"

Interestingly, both Smith and Kohli are coming off after scoring 100 in the last international innings, respectively.
