West Indies will lock horns with New Zealand in the first fixture of the three-match ODI series on Monday (19 September) at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua. This fixture was slated to be played on Friday but was postponed due to Tropical Storm Fiona.

The Caribbean team last played an ODI game in the World Cup earlier this year and won three out of seven games. However, things will be different this time, with the absence of Deandra Dottin and changed leadership in form of all-rounder Hayley Matthews.

New Zealand also tasted success on three occasions in the World Cup but will be optimistic after winning a bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games. They will be captained by a prolific all-rounder Sophie Devine.
