Trinbago Knight Riders secured a victory by four wickets against Jamaica Tallawahs in Match 21 of Caribbean Premier League 2022 at Tarouba.

Ravi Rampaul restricts Tallawahs to a below-par total

Tallawahs decision to bat first backfired as they were reeling at 22/4 in the fifth over. The team's key run-scorers Rovman Powell, Brandon King and Raymon Reifer were already back in the hut courtesy of Ravi Rampaul.

However, Shamarh Brooks (20) and Imad Wasim (21) resurrected the team's innings. Afterwards, the bowling Fabian Allen provided a great flourish by scoring 50 off 35, with three fours and as many maximums.

Tallawahs finished their innings on 116/7, and Rampaul was the wrecker-in-chief for the Knight Riders with four scalps.

Munro, Seifert shine again for Knight Riders

Knight Riders openers Nicholas Pooran and Tion Webster struggle continued as they could not even open their account. Nevertheless, the proficient Kiwi pair Colin Munro (40) and Tim Seifert (28) were clinical to steer the team at a brisk rate.

In the end, Akeal Hosein (14*) and Andre Russell (18*) chased down the score with five balls to spare.

After two adding two more wickets to his tally, Mohammad Amir rose to the top of the bowling charts with 13 scalps.

Brief Scores:
