Jasprit Bumrah missed the Asia Cup 2022 owing to a back injury. As it turned out, the Indian team failed to make it to the final by losing to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super Four stage of the tournament.

The speedster is now slated to make a comeback into the national side for the upcoming three-match home T20I series against Australia. Moreover, he has also been selected as one of the members of India’s 15-player squad for the T20I World Cup in Australia next month.

In a bid to train ahead of his much-awaited comeback, the cricketer was seen grinding it out in the nets and at the gym.

Bumrah shares intense training video on social media

On Wednesday, September 14, Bumrah shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen training in the nets ahead of the home series against Australia. Along with the video, the cricketer wrote in the caption:

“Work and you’ll get what you need; work hard and you’ll get what you want.”

In a dress rehearsal series for the T20I World Cup, India will play three T20Is against Australia between September 20 and September 25.

The ‘Men in Blue’ will then host South Africa for three T20Is and three ODI matches before departing for Australia in October.
