Former Sri Lankan great Sanath Jayasuriya while playing for Sri Lanka Legends in the Road Safety World Series Season 2 has claimed the record figures of 4/3 in his four overs against England Legends.

His scalps include Mal Loye, Darren Maddy, Tim Ambrose and Dimitri Mascarenhas who returned for just 8, 2, 0 & 1 respectively. His figures now stand as the second best in the history of the tournament with his teammate Nuwan Kulasekara's 5/25 against South Africa Legends still holding the top spot.

In his 20 year long international career, the left-arm spinner has claimed 98 Test wickets, 323 ODI wickets to go with his 19 T20I wickets.

At the time of writing, England Legends are in deep trouble at 58/7 after the end of sixteen overs.
