Naseem Shah made his T20I debut at the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2022. In his first game itself, the Pakistani speedster castled KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav and finished the tournament with seven wickets.

In the meantime, his younger brother Hunain Shah also made his competitive debut through a match in the ongoing National T20 Cup. Playing for Central Punjab, the 18-year-old picked two wickets in his four-over spell.

Hunain Shah recently made his T20 debut with a match against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in match number 19 of the Pakistan National T20 Cup 2022. In a high-scoring game in Multan, the young speedster gave away just 28 runs off his four overs, all while picking up the wickets of Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohammad Sarwar and Maaz Khan.

Shah’s imperial spell helped his side register a 25-run win over table-toppers Pakhtunkhwa. The win marked their second of the season, as they continue to languish at the bottom of the points table.
